Im Jahr 2005 lud die FIFA, der weltgrösste Sportverband, zu seinem 55. Weltkongress nach Marrakesch in Marokko ein. Die Allegro Art Agency hatte den Auftrag, den Kongress durch Live-Entertainment künstlerisch zu gestalten. Sie kreierte eigens zu diesem Kongress eine open-air Neuproduktion mit zehn Artisten des Cirque de soleil, mit 20 international bekannten Tänzern und dem afrikanischen Künstler Youssou N`Dour. So entstand unter der Choreographie von Jane Welsh-Webers, nach den Kostümentwürfen von Simon Marlow und meiner Kostümrealisation eine unvergessliche Show, getaucht in marokkanisch-internationales Flair. Es stand alles im Zeichen des Gastgeberlandes Marokko und wurde ein Kongress der Superlative.
In 2005, the worlds largest sports association, FIFA hosted their 55th World Congress in Morocco. The live entertainment for the event was coordinated by the renowned Allegro Art Agency from Hamburg. For this high profile open air event, they brought together ten artists from the world famous Cirque de soleil company, twenty international dancers and the African superstar Youssou N´Dour. As a result of the collaboration between the Choreographer Jane Welsh-Webbers, costume designer Simon Marlow and my practical realisation of these designs, an unforgettable show transpired, a wonderful marriage of Maroccon flair and international style. The host nation provided not only the theme for the show but also the arena for an outstanding World Congress, the first of its kind on the African continent.
